During this week, your body produces large amounts of Beta-hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). Now it is a good time to make an appointment with an Obstetrician for positive confirmation.
Care you need to take during 2nd week pregnancy:
Make every effort to make your pregnancy as healthy as possible. Tobacco, alcohol, recreational drugs, and caffeine consumption should be avoided. Also avoid exposure to extremely stressful events.

Risks during 2nd week pregnancy:
At this time, there is a chance to occur ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy cannot be observed for many weeks, sometimes up to 16 weeks. If it is noticed during early times, it can be handled without any invasive surgery.
During this week, there is a chance to develop fraternal or identical twins. More than one fertilized egg results in fraternal twins. If a single egg splits into two parts and start growing separately, then identical twins will grow.
