If ever one was going to feel insecure about showing off a post pregnancy body, it would have to be a lingerie model; but according to Victoria’s Secret Supermodel Adriana Lima, she feels more beautiful and sexier after pregnancy.
Even super models have some of the same doubts and insecurities as the rest of us; so Lima was also worried about getting back on the catwalk after having put on 50 pounds during her pregnancy.
However she claims; that after having given birth to her daughter she feels even “more confident, even more beautiful, more sexy.â€
Lima, who shot to fame for wearing the $2 million fantasy bra, designed by Italian designer Damiani, in the Victoria’s Secret show, was in fact nervous about how she was going to manage to lose all of the weight, and wasn’t at all sure how her body would react.
It wasn’t easy to lose the weight; particularly finding the time to work out; but she was persistent – she would snatch half an hour between her baby’s nap times to go to the gym and do some boxing and be at the jump rope for a while.
Lima was recently seen as part of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York, on Nov. 10, 2010.
