Cloudy urine during pregnancy is yet another symptom that will have first time moms panicking. Well… relax, cloudy urine is perfectly normal provided there are no other symptoms accompanying it.

A pregnant woman’s body is going through many changes, and some of these can cause cloudy urine. This includes changed hormonal levels.

If a pregnant woman notices that, her urine has been cloudy for more than a couple of days she needs to get in touch with her doctor to identify the root cause. Dehydration is taken care of by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. In case you are experiencing a lot of stress too, get your blood pressure checked.

High blood pressure can lead to many complications and will need immediate care to prevent any further issues. STDs may also cause cloudy urine in pregnant women and need to be treated under the care of a medical practitioner.
