Singer and model Jessica Simpson who has been in news since the time she got pregnant with her first child has finally revealed that she is now pregnant with her second one.
Jessica made this revelation in her latest twitter message where she posted a photo of her baby girl in the beach with ‘big sis’ written boldly on the sand.
The caption of the picture said “”Merry Christmas from my family to yours”. The star who is currently holidaying in Hawaii gave birth to her first child Maxwell in May 2012.
Jessica is engaged to Eric Johnson, a former National Football League player and has been in the relationship since 2010. Prior to this relationship, Jessica was married to Nick Lachey for 3 years from 2002 to 2005, after which they divorced. She was then in a relationship with Tony Romo, another NFL player, until she met Eric.
What about the Weight Watchers’ Program?
Well, this pregnancy now comes with a professional complication for Jessica- her 4 million dollar weight watchers program is on hold (or is it?). Being a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, the impact on the program is speculated.
But reports say that the deal is not affected. It has been kept on hold for the time being and will resume after the birth of her baby. She will however be monitored throughout her pregnancy for her well being.
Jessica is right now in Hawaii, celebrating the holiday season with Eric and Maxwell. With Maxwell turning 7 months, Jessica has announced the news of another baby on the way in her Christmas twitter. During the last few weeks, rumors were milling around Jessica as she was seen wearing baggy outfits to cover her bulging figure (including her bust line).
From totes to bouquets, Jessica has been quite tactful in hiding her baby bump from the media. Having released a clothing line and drawn oodles of media attention, Jessica made sure that she stays on top of the gossip pages all year long.
The expected date of arrival of the baby has not been announced and that leaves us guessing.
