It is official! Reese Witherspoon has given birth to a healthy baby boy in the wee hours of September 27th.
Named Tennessee James, he is the third child for Reese and the first for the couple. The mom and baby are reported to be healthy.
James joins his half-sibling Ava and Deacon to complete the family picture.
Past relationships
Reese Witherspoon and her first husband of 7 years Ryan Phillipe split earlier in 2006. They are best known for co-starring in Cruel Intensions.
After her divorce, she took time off for herself and only recently has been seen dating Jim Toth – a high profile Los Angeles based talent agent at CAA. Soon they announced their engagement and were seen together at all events.
The Second Innings
Married to beau Jim Toth in March last year, Reese spent the better part of the first year having regular outings with Jim.
They have been seen taking cozy beach holidays, exciting family vacations and lots of fun through the year. The very pregnant Reese was seen shopping for the arrival of the baby way before the expected date.
In June this year Reese announced her pregnancy and 5 months down the line, has delivered the beautiful baby. On the day of the delivery, Reese was said to have continued with her daily routine. During the last week of pregnancy Reese was seen at the Beverly Hills Hotel in a fuchsia frock.
This came as a pleasant surprise in contrast to the casual clothing she has been wearing of late. She was also spotted taking time off for some retail therapy, while sipping a large cup of cold drink. Even the straw hat and large shades did little to shield her from the scorching California heat.
After the delivery Reese and Jim made an announcement and stated thus in the press release ‘Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.’
