Signs and Symptoms of 27 Weeks Pregnant

If you are thinking about the signs and symptoms of 27 weeks pregnant you should know that you are getting very close to the end of your pregnancy.

Although this is supposed to be the time that you should enjoy the most, there are some things that make your life a bit difficult.

Signs and Symptoms of 27 Weeks Pregnant

Flatulence

As the uterus grows, it puts more pressure on the rectum            and so it will become more difficult for you to control the muscles in the area. Also, consider that you have a sluggish digestive system and so it will be normal for you to become gassy in this period.

Dizziness and faintness

During pregnancy, the blood vessels dilate and this can leave you light headed. To make you feel better, you should drink plenty of water. Also, when you feel light headed, you should sit or lie down.

Nasal congestion

This is caused by progesterone and estrogen that increase the blood flow to the mucus membranes. If your nasal congestion makes sleeping difficult or if it makes you snore, you should wear a nasal strip.

Restless leg syndrome

In case of some women, the 27th week of pregnancy signs and symptoms involve feeling like their legs have a mind of their own. This means that when women stop moving they feel an urge to move their legs. The problem is linked to anemia and iron deficiency, but yoga might help.

Ligaments and joints pain

In case you are thinking about the signs and symptoms of 27 weeks pregnant, you should know that this one appears because the pregnancy hormones make the joints and ligaments in the pelvic region loosen, leading to pain. It might be helpful to wear a supportive pregnancy belt to make the pain better.

Bleeding gums

The pregnancy hormones make the gums swell. This way the gums will become more sensitive to the bacteria ‘attacks’. It is important to wash your tongue as well when washing your teeth so that there will be fewer bacteria.

There is no reason to be worried about the signs and symptoms of 27 weeks pregnant since they are normal.
