An ectopic pregnancy (also referred to as eccysis) is a complication that occurs in pregnancy. The complication is actually the situation where the embryo implants outside the uterine cavity in the female’s body. Data suggests that most ectopic pregnancies occur in the fallopian tubes, while the implantation might occur in the cervix, the ovaries or the abdomen. It may not always be possible to detect the ectopic pregnancy early, but there are symptoms of ectopic pregnancy at 7 weeks i.e. the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy experienced by women who are 7 weeks pregnant.
An Ectopic pregnancy is very dangerous for the mother and may even put her in a life threatening condition. It may lead the mother to developed internal haemorrhage which is extremely dangerous .
