Famed Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem have some great news to share. The couple is expecting a second addition to their family this year. They already are parents to 2-year old Leonardo who was born in 2011. The Bardems are very happy with the news of their new arrival and are getting ready to welcome their second child by this year end.

The Oscar winning actress is now 38 years old while her husband is 43 years. The Oscar-winning couple began dating in 2007 and tied the knot in July 2010 at a friend’s house in Bahamas, and has been enjoying marital bliss since then. The couple will be seen together this year in the upcoming flick The Counselor directed by Ridley Scott.  The movie is slated for a November release.

Penelope has taken to family life more seriously since her marriage and has put her acting career on the back burner. In her own words Penelope talks about motherhood and pregnancy “Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment – when you see that face, you are transformed forever.” At this stage Penelope is in the third month of pregnancy and everything is fine with the baby and the mother.

Ever since her pregnant status came to light, the paparazzi have been tracing to see any visible signs of motherhood in the actress. Recently Penelope was spotted at the airport heading to Bahamas wearing a plaid shirt possibly to cover her tiny baby bump. The lady glowed with all the good hormones working inside her. She was apparently going to meet Javier who was already there before them.

Penelope has more baby news to share with us –her sister Monica Cruz is also expecting and is pregnant with a baby from an anonymous donor. This calls for a double celebration in the Cruz family. The model shared her baby news through a press report and was quoted as saying: ‘I’m going to be a mother! I have managed to fulfill the dream of a lifetime.
