Angelina Jolie may be in the news for denying a pregnancy, but after much speculation, singer Mariah Carey has come out and confirmed her pregnancy. Carey, who had suffered a miscarriage a couple of years ago, got some useful pregnancy advice from fellow singer Celine Dion.
This lowering of stress was very helpful to her in conceiving. Hormone treatments also helped Mariah Carey to get pregnant.
Being on progesterone hormones was what helped her get pregnant, but also caused her to gain weight, which is why the speculation about her pregnancy was rife even before it was actually confirmed. The singer has now confirmed that she and her husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child in spring of next year.
After the earlier miscarriage she suffered, Carey was naturally reluctant to speak about a pregnancy to anyone. As for the baby names, the couple has those picked out as well; but they aren’t letting on just yet, we will just have to wait and watch.
