Signs and Symptoms of 25 Weeks Pregnant

In the 25th week of pregnancy, you are in the 2nd trimester. It is very essential of maintaining the physical activity at this period. During this week your body continues to alter.

In this stage small blood vessels begin to form, the skin color turns to pink and the baby is able to recognize and hear some sounds. Here some signs and symptoms of 25 weeks pregnant are specified.

Indigestion or heartburn

If you feel more hungry, you may notice that consuming food in large amounts in one sitting can result in indigestion or heartburn. Protect your gastrointestinal uneasy by consuming several small meals all over the day to avoid overloading your digestive system.

Snoring

Snoring is an ordinary thing at the time of pregnancy, since the increased flow of blood to the mucus membranes in the nose can result in congestion. If you discover that your snoring is interfering with the sleep, this could indicate a sleep apnea; in that case you should consult your doctor.

Tingling hands

During the pregnancy, the increased volume of blood can result in the swelling which sets pressure in the wrist nerves, and can result in the carpal tunnel syndrome.

Varicose veins

The extra volume of blood you develop at the time of pregnancy also sets pressure on the blood vessels and make them to swell, which results in the varicose veins. They do not cause any kind of harm, and their being is a nice excuse for sitting down and kicking back making your feet up, as elevating the legs maintain the blood circulating and also reduces the veins pressure in your legs.

SPD

SPD stands for Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. If you are feeling any pain in the pelvic area, it may result in the SPD, which is caused by the stretchy and relaxed ligaments that usually maintain the pelvic joint aligned. Try to do pelvic tilts and keel exercises which helps in strengthening the muscles present in that area, and if there is a severe pain contact a doctor.

RLS

RLS stands for the Restless Legs Syndrome. If you experience a tingling feeling in your legs associated with an urge to move them, ask your doctor to check for iron deficiency anemia as some experts will think that it is related to the RLS. Also maintain a food journal because some women discover that sensitivity to specific foods results in the worst symptoms.

Changes in the hair

As the common daily loss of hair is suppressed by the hormones of pregnancy, you may find that your hair feels more lustrous and thicker than before.
