Twins at 5 Weeks Pregnant Symptoms

Exaggerated symptoms may be present in the woman who is carrying twins, because when carrying twins more hormones are produced than when carrying single baby.

More pregnant hormones can equal severe symptoms. Twins at 5 weeks pregnant symptoms such as tiredness, frequent urination, breast aches, morning sickness may be twice when carrying twin babies.

Increased tiredness

It’s perfectly normal to feel exhausted or tired at this period. For producing two healthy babies your body is doing overtime. You should take more rest as much as possible at night and throughout the day. Doing light exercise and consuming a healthy diet during pregnancy will help you.

Increased urination frequency

Increased urination frequency is a usual complaint for most of the women in the early pregnancy. The uterus begins to grow and put stress on the bladder which holds less urine than the normal which results in the frequent urination. If you have any pain or burning during urination, let your doctor know.

Nausea and morning sickness

Nausea and morning sickness may be worse when carrying twins. In very rare situations it becomes serious and also frustrating. Vomiting and nausea can occur at any time throughout the day. Frequently eating, consuming small meals will help ease your belly. Many of them also experience strong sense of smell and may also feel an aversion to certain tastes and smells.

Heartburn

The woman who is carrying twin babies may experience more heartburn, and it does in the earlier pregnancy. This occurs because of your larger uterus. Antacids help with the symptoms of heartburn for most of the women. After a meal, instead of lying down, you can sit straight or do a short walk for some time to help you in food digestion. You may also experience constipation. Drink more water and also increase your intake of fiber.

Stuffiness and nosebleeds

Many women will have stuffiness and nosebleeds at the time of pregnancy. This is because of the increased supply of blood in your body’s mucous membranes. Blood increase can make the membranes of mucus become swollen and secretion of additional mucus in the nose. Many of the pregnant women may also have breathlessness sensation. This feeling gets too bad as the pregnancy progresses. It is very normal in having an increased heart rate. This is because of decreased BP and increased blood supply.

Breast tenderness
