All About Early Stages of Pregnancy

Although there are few physical changes during the early stages of pregnancy, you can be sure that there is a lot going on inside your womb. Also the new mothers may notice some emotional changes during this period.

Information about the first trimester of pregnancy

In the majority of the cases women don’t realize that they are pregnant until the 4th or 5th week of pregnancy. However there are also some women who feel that they are pregnant right away. In this period of time your body goes through numerous changes and you could see the signs of it.

Fatigue

This is a specific symptom of pregnancy in the first trimester. Since the body has to work extra time to support the development of the fetus, it requires a lot of energy, and this is why the mother may experience fatigue. Because of this it is important for you to have plenty of rest.

Nausea

Most probably you know about this symptom of the early pregnancy stages that it is also known as morning sickness. You should know about it that the symptom can appear at just any moment of the day. In order to make it better you should snack on cheese and biscuits.

Frequent urination

This is one of the bothersome symptoms of the pregnancy early stages. Because of the pregnancy hormones, the blood flow to the pelvic region increases and this leads to bladder irritation. As the pregnancy develops, the uterus puts more pressure on the bladder.

Changes in the breast

The early pregnancy developments come with higher levels of progesterone and estrogen. This is why the areola could become darker and the breasts could become heavier, larger and painful to the touch. To make the discomfort better you should opt for bras that offer a high level of support.

Do some research

When you get to the early developmental stages of pregnancy you should do some research about the childbirth options. There is a lot of information available on this topic. Naturally you should also talk to your doctor and ask him or her about the option he or she thinks is the most suitable for you.

Smoking

During the early developmental stages of pregnant women it is very important to avoid smoking and it is best if you don’t spend time in places where other people are smoking. It is a well-known fact that smoke isn’t good for the health of the baby and the first trimester is the time when the baby develops at the fastest pace.

Alcohol

Just as in case of smoking, it is best to avoid consuming alcohol as well. While some people believe that it is alright to have some red wine from time to time, it is best not to take any chances when it comes to the health of your baby.

Now you know what you can expect from the first stages of pregnancy. You may see that there are some things that you will have to give up.
